Oh my god it's back to '84.

This past week, I had bought a metro pass, but I really ended up walking to the majority of places, so this week, I'm trying out going without the pass and walking everywhere. The city is very compact for the most part, so it shouldn't be very hard. At the metro they have an announcer, a woman's voice, and the voice sternly reminds you to watch your bag, buy your pass, keep your ticket, don't litter, mind the step, etc. Eerily enough, it has a very strong resemblance to the voice of the announcer from 1984. Maybe that's what's putting me off the metro hahaha.
